1.1 INTRODUCTION TO COMPUTER Today’s world is an information-rich world and it has become a necessity for everyone to know about computers. A computer is a general-purpose programmable machine.  Computer processing system an advanced electronic device that takes raw data as input from the user and processes it under the control of set of instructions (called program), gives the result (output), and saves it for future use. It has the ability to store, retrieve and process data. It processes data at very high speed according to the instructions given to it and produces accurate results. The instructions given to a computer to perform a particular task is known as computer program.
